Hi, folks! This is just a quick note to let you know that the latest edition of the magazine of the North Carolina Botanical Garden has just been released. When there’s an electronic file on their site that I can link to, I’ll add it to my Recent Publications page. Until then, you can get a taste of this edition’s contents via these photos of the first pages of the articles I authored.
For those of you interested in acquiring native plants for your yards, this edition of the magazine should be helpful.

Hello, Donna! The work being done is exciting, encouraging, and so very important for the future health of North Carolina ecosystems. Please let me know if you have any questions after you read the articles. As always, it is wonderful to hear from you.

One of the best editions of this publication, mostly because much of the information is helpful to gardeners. Thank you for your contributions. I do wonder, however, why no mention was made in the magazine (unless I missed it!) of the seed packages the garden has for sale and the annual seed share offered both to members and non-members, with a fee, in our southeast region. I appreciate your endeavors, and hope you continue your good work spreading the news of our native plants.

Welcome, Lynda, and thanks. I think the focus of this edition was more on plants for gardeners and landscapers, rather than seeds. It is my understanding that an upcoming edition will focus on growing natives from seed. Rest assured that when that issue is under construction, I will be sure that the seed packages and seed share program offered by the NCBG will be prominently mentioned. Happy gardening!
